Ordering
Please be aware that as most items are handmade to order, sizes are approximate and slight variations from the pictures may occur, this adds to the individuality of the work. Pendants are supplied with a sterling silver chain, which may vary in type and may differ from those pictured.
Availability times are for guidance only from time of ordering to time dispatch.
When ordering online you will be taken to a Paypal secure checkout (you do not need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal)
Pricing
Prices are not guaranteed for any period of time and are subject to change without notice (this is particularly true as the price of silver and gold fluctuates constantly). Lucy shall make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the time of purchase, however reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a pricing error.
Lucy Palmer reserves the right to withdraw any goods from sale at any time and without notice and shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any goods from the Website or for refusing to process an order.
Shipping and returns
We cannot take responsibility for late or non delivery due to factors outside our control. Refusal or failure to take delivery could result in additional costs, you the consumer shall be liable to pay on demand all costs incurred as a result of this and costs of resending items if they are returned as undeliverable.
International delivery: When items are sent to another country, your parcel is often handled by more than one postal service. Unfortunately that means delivery problems are more likely. When we send a parcel abroad, the actual delivery of the item will be the responsibility of the postal service in the country the items are going to. Delays can often be caused by customs checks, which can sometimes take up to several weeks. You, the customer will be responsible for any customs charges and taxes that may be incurred in your country.
Refunds and Cancellation
If you are unhappy with your item, you can return it within 7 days from receiving it for an exchange or refund (postage costs will not be refunded and additional postage costs will be incurred for exchanges unless the returned item is faulty).
The consumer must send a cancellation notice including their name, address, details of item and why it is being returned to info@lucypalmerjewellery.co.uk to cancel the order before returning an item to:
Lucy Palmer, Banks Mill studios, 71 Bridge Street, Derby, DE1 3LB
The item must be returned unworn and undamaged and in it’s original box. (Items that are received in an unsalable condition will not be refunded and return postage will be payable should you require it to be returned). The returned item is your responsibility until it reaches us; therefore it is recommended that you should use registered postal services that insure you for the value of the goods.
Please note: Items that are custom made to your requirements (eg. Rings/bangles made to size, commissions or pieces with requested alterations) are exempt from distance selling regulations and no refund will be available unless there is a manufacturing fault.
Due to health and safety regulations earrings cannot be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.
Goods damaged or lost in transit to the customer
Please inspect the package immediately on receipt and inform Lucy by email of the damages caused in transit to you within 3 days, and return the damaged item, complete with all the original packaging to receive a replacement. If your item has not turned up please when expected please contact me for a tracking number if not already received. Please note that if your item has been signed for then it will be classed as delivered and no compensation can be claimed (for this reason it is usually best to use your home address rather than a work address).
Repairs
In the unlikely and unfortunate case your item should be faulty repairs will be carried out free of charge on items with a manufacturing fault within 6 months of purchase, but only if the fault was due to a flaw within the way the piece was initially made and not if it is damaged from misuse or wear and tear.
Items damaged by wear and tear can usually be repaired at minimal cost plus postage.
Please contact us by email providing as much information as possible so that an assessment can be made as to how your item can be fixed.
